MLA Bani, Dr. Rameshwar Singh today distributed engagement orders to 40 AAYAs at the Zonal Education Office in Bani.
On the occasion, former Sarpanches and Zonal Education Officer Bani, Surjeet Singh Pathania were present. The program also witnessed enthusiastic participation from community leaders and education officials, reflecting a collective commitment to uplifting the standard of education in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rameshwar Singh said that this initiative is part of a special scheme launched by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha, aimed at enhancing enrollment in government schools, particularly at the pre-primary level. The scheme aligns with the vision outlined under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, focusing on strengthening the foundation of education in rural and underserved areas, he said.
MLA Dr. Rameshwar highlighted the importance of pre-primary education as the building block of a child’s academic journey. He emphasized that this initiative will play a pivotal role in providing quality education and fostering holistic development in young learners.
“The engagement of AAYAs is expected to significantly enhance the learning environment in pre-primary government schools, thereby encouraging parents to enroll their children in these institutions.
This move is another milestone in the government’s continuous efforts to provide equitable and inclusive education to all sections of society,” he added.
