MLA Samba flags off Rally on Special Outreach Programme at Sam

On the concluding day of SOP Campaign, Samba a series of IEC activities were carried out by Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.
On this occasion a grand Rally was flagged off by Member of Legislative Assembly, Samba Dr. Davinder Kumar Manyal. While addressing the participants MLA Samba said that youth is the back bone of Nation and strongly advocated that the time has come when the youth has to shoulder their responsibilities and come forward in disseminating information of Schemes launched by Government of India at grass root level. The Rally started from Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Samba, passed through district Hospital, National Highway, Guest House Road, Main Bazar, local Bus Stand and culminated at Boys Hr. Sec. School, Samba. The participants displaying placards, shouting slogans like Beti Bachao Beti padhao, Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat, Mera Khata Bagividata etc. displayed great enthusiasm in spreading the message of SOP Campaign in Samba through Rally. Later an Inter School Quiz Contest was also organised under the Chairmanship of Shri Arvin Kumar Koul, Principal Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School in which two teams of host Institute and two from Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, participated.
During the Campaign period the department put all efforts in making the Campaign fruitful and result oriented with the active participation of district administration, Samba.
