Jammu East MLA and party Chief Whip Rajesh Gupta started the work of the laying of water pipes at Mohalla Darugiran in Ward no.15.The estimated cost of the work is rupees 5.50 lakhs.Newly elected corporator of the area Sandhya Gupta was present on the occasion.
BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA included Parshottam Gupta, Gopal Gupta , Pardeep Sharma, Rajkumar Gupta ,Ajay Grover, Raju, Bobby, Kiran Chouhan, Gokul Koul, Chaman Lal, Harjang Singh, Amit, R ajkumar, Ajay Dhar, Raja ,Rajkumar, Vinod Gupta.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that the success of the party in the recently held ULB elections demonstrates the trust and confidence enjoyed by the party in the eyes of the public. He said that this is all because of the policy of sab ka saath sab ka vikaas and the visible difference on the ground proven by the party.
Rajesh Gupta exhorted the newly elected Corporators to go all out for the development of their Wards and spare no effort in ameliorating the difficulties of the people.
Rajesh Gupta said that the recently held ULB elections by the BJP government has empowered the people of the state by bringing democracy to the very grass root levels and this would go a long way in ushering an era of peace and prosperity in the state.
The PHE officials who accompanied the MLA included AEE Vijay Sharma, JE Anil Sharma and the members of the Darugiran Welfare Comittee who were present on the occasion included Narinder Gupta, Sanjay Gupta, Gurjeet Singh,Happy,Atul, Ramesh Gupta, Naresh Gupta, Roop Lal,Vinod Kumar, Darshan, Deepak, Satpal Chouhan,Deepak Nargotra.
