On the directions of Directorate of HG/CD/ SDRF J&K, a mock exercise-cum demonstration programme was held at Railways Station, Jammu which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the supervision of Dy. SP. Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. Large number of civilians, Railways staff/ Coolies and Shopkeepers of Railway station have witnessed the mock exercise/ demonstration. In addition, basic knowledge of First Aid, Fire fighting CPR, Choking and other rescue methods to be used during Rail accidents was also given by the Civil Defence experts. The main aim of the mock exercise was to educate the audience with regard to preventive measures to be taken during Rail accidents/ disaster. Jugal Kishore S.S.A railway Station Jammu, appreciated and thanked the Civil Defence team for organizing such programme. Sh. Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, Sh. R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu and other wardens of Civil Defence, Jammu were also present on the occasion.
