A delegation of BJP leaders headed by Former State President BJP and Ex-Minister Sat Sharma (CA) visited Sunderbani, Nowshera and Kalakote areas where they interacted with many deputations. The delegation also comprised of State Secretary BJP and in charge Sunderbani/Nowshera, Rakesh Mahajan and State President BJP SC Morcha and organizational election In charge for Sunderbani/Nowshera Jagdish Bhagat.
During their visit they interacted with hundreds of Panchs and Sarpanchs from all the three areas and also met elected Councillors with Chairman of Municipal Committees(MC) of both Sunderbani and Nowshera. District President BJP Capt. Som Dutt, Chairman MC Nowshera Narinder Sharma, Chairman MC Sunderbani Rajinder Sharma, Mandal Presidents of BJP from all three areas were also present during the group of meetings.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma asked the participants in the meetings to gear up for BDC (Block Development Council) elections and stated the elections will ensure supervision and monitoring of various developmental schemes, administrative and technical guidance of Panchayats and periodical reviews of their work. It will help supervise plans relating to agriculture, rural development and animal husbandry, social forestry, education and public health, he added.
He also stated that as part of Nationwide program, all activists of BJP and elected representatives in all three areas must boost the party cadre and must actively take part in the “Seva Saptah” that has been launched by party high command on 14 September to celebrate a full week by doing social things and serving society in one way or other to celebrate our hard working Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
He also asked the party activists and elected representatives to conduct organizational elections up to booth level before 30 September and also said that no booth must be left behind and all booths must be covered and fair elections must be conducted to ensure the transparency of our organization.
