Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today said that the Government has laid full focus on development of infrastructure to provide best amenities to the people of the state. Former Deputy CM was addressing people after starting the up-gradation of Interior roads of Pushp Enclave, Gangyal along with BaldevBillawria, Chairman Helath& Sanitation Committee JMC. A large number of people drawn from different sections of the society met Kavinder Gupta and projected their problems and grievances. Vinay Gupta, BJP Leaders and senior officers from concerned departments were also present. Listing achievements of the Centre and state government, Gupta said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown keen interest in the development of Jammu and Kashmir for which he is providing liberal funding. He said that recently PM launched several development projects across the state including ring roads for twin capital cities, mega Hydro Power project at PakalDul, Zojila tunnel on Srinagar Ladakh road which shows his keenness to see state achieving new heights of development. He said with liberal funding promised by the centre all these development projects will be completed in a time bound manner.
Referring to the work started at Pushp Gangyal, Gupta said due to sincere efforts of Baldev Billawria, the lanes & drains works of interior areas in Gnagyal have been approved by JMC and every work shall be completed in time bound manner with the focus on the quality work & material.
He added that an era of development and progress has started in the state adding that social and economic up-lift of the weaker sections, downtrodden, women, youth and farmer is on prime agenda of the government.He also made people aware about the benefits of various Centrally sponsored schemes including Pradhan Mantri Jan DhanYojana, Digital India, Make In India, Skill India, MUDRA Bank Yojana, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, AMRUT Yojana, etc.
BaldeVBillawria in his address said that Kavinder Gupta has set an example of development in every sector in Gandhi Nagar Constituency. He said the public of Gaandhi Nagar Constituency are satisfied with the performance of Kavinder Gupta who easily assemble to public and all the works done in the constituency have been completed with quality work and material. He said unlike past Congress Representatives from the constituency, Kavinder Gupta has been successful in delivering at grounds. He appealed to the public present on the occasion to vote and support in large numbers in forthcoming elections so as to re-elect Kavinder Gupta better known for his honesty.
