In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, newly elected Akhnoor MLA Mohan Lal Bhagat hosted a “Voter and Worker Appreciation Event” at KR Resort, Akhnoor. Presiding over the ceremony, Bhagat was joined by prominent leaders including Jammu & Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina, Jammu East MLA and BJP Vice President Shyam Lal Sharma, former MLAs Rajeev Sharma and Dr. Krishan Lal, along with Suraj Singh, Vice Chairman of the District Development Council, Manmohan Singh, and Rakesh Malhotra.
Addressing the gathering, BJP President Ravinder Raina emphasized the party’s commitment to public service, affirming that Mohan Lal Bhagat would uphold this legacy with dedication to the people of Akhnoor.
He extended his gratitude to party workers, attributing the victory to their relentless efforts and the unwavering support of the public. In his speech, Shyam Lal Sharma highlighted the progress of Akhnoor constituency and the dedication of party workers.
“The faith that the people of Akhnoor have placed in the BJP is our highest priority.
Under Mohan Lal Bhagat’s leadership, we are set to guide this region towards a new era,” he stated. Sharma expressed confidence that the joint effort of party workers and the trust of the people would strengthen their resolve to serve the region with unwavering commitment.
MLA Mohan Lal Bhagat conveyed heartfelt thanks to the BJP teams across all three party divisions, along with heads of Shakti Kendras, booth presidents, and all dedicated party workers. He remarked, “You have embraced me as a family member, and through your overwhelming support, granted me a significant victory.
I assure you that every promise, big or small, made to you will be fulfilled.” He further announced plans to establish an office in Akhnoor Bazaar, which will be open for public access, underscoring his commitment to being readily available to address citizens’ needs. Bhagat reaffirmed his commitment to making the Akhnoor Assembly a model constituency.
