In a significant move towards improving local infrastructure, the Honorable MLA of Akhnoor, Mohan Lal, today inaugurated the macadamization work worth 16 Lakhs on the much-anticipated road project from Mawa Kasora to Bhal Mohalla, Sardar Mohalla, ZEO KL Bhagat Mohalla, in Panchayat Gurha Brahmana East. The road stretch, measuring 800 meters, promises to greatly improve accessibility and ease of movement for local residents.
Sharda Bhau, Member of the District Development Council; Xen PWD Sunil Dogra; AEE PWD Sunil Baogia; Ex-Sarpanch Varinder Bhagat; Naib Sarpanch Rattan Lal Sharma; KD Sharma, along with other notable figures of the constituency, were present at the ceremony.
While addressing the public, Mohan Lal reaffirmed his commitment to transforming Akhnoor into a model constituency. He assured the gathering of his dedication, promising to work tirelessly for the welfare and upliftment of the community. “Our goal is to ensure that every corner of Akhnoor has access to quality roads and infrastructure. This project is just one of many initiatives aimed at providing safer, more efficient transportation for all,” he stated.
The MLA emphasized the importance of public participation and urged the residents to come forward with their suggestions and concerns. “I believe in inclusive development, and your input is vital for making Akhnoor the best it can be. Together, we will create a constituency that sets a benchmark for growth, prosperity, and unity,” he added.
In addition to infrastructure projects, Mohan Lal highlighted his vision for comprehensive development in sectors such as healthcare, education, and rural employment. He pledged to focus on enhancing facilities, creating job opportunities for the youth, and ensuring better healthcare services for all residents.
