Month long Volleyball coaching camp, organised by Shaheed Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club Pooch under the aegis of Volleyball Association of J&K, got underway at Government Degree College grounds, here.
In all, 40 young spikers have registered themselves with the organisers for this specialised camp.
The camp declared open by DySP Headquarters, Ajaz Ahmed Bhat, who was the chief guest.
He highlighted the role of organisers, Shaheem Manjit Club and appreciated chairman of the Club, Mohd Tariq for his commitment towards the sports, especially the game of Volleyball.
Those present on the occasion were Mohd Qasim (ZPEO), JS Tandon, Mohd Bashir (veteran volleyball player), Romesh Kumar, Gurvinder Singh, Davinder Singh and Ramiz Tariq.
