Members of Movement Kalki departed from Jammu Railway Station for the Prayagraj Kumbh today, marking the 84th day of their ongoing movement to demand ‘National Mother’ status for Gau Mata (Mother Cow). Despite the cold waves, rain, and harsh weather, the movement continues to gain momentum, with increased enthusiasm and determination among the participants. The members reiterated their commitment to taking the movement to greater heights until their demand is fulfilled.
Objective and Message of the Movement
Speaking before departure, Movement Kalki board member Ajay Kumar stated, “Our movement is not confined to Jammu; it aims to resonate across the nation. At Prayagraj Kumbh, we will raise our voice among 50 crore devotees and saints. We will ensure that our demand reaches the Dharm Sansad (Religious Parliament) and that Gau Mata receives the honor she deserves.”
Board member Anuradha Ji added, “We will rejuvenate our energy by taking a holy dip at the Kumbh and amplify our efforts to secure the ‘National Mother’ status for Gau Mata through the Dharm Sansad. This is not merely a demand but a reflection of our faith and the traditions of the Hindu community. Gau Mata nurtures us with her milk, and this movement symbolizes our gratitude towards her.”
Plans and Demonstrations at the Kumbh
During the Prayagraj Kumbh, Movement Kalki members plan to collaborate with saints and devotees to make their demand more impactful. They will present a proposal at the Dharm Sansad, advocating for Gau Mata to be declared the ‘National Mother.’ Additionally, they will organize demonstrations and awareness campaigns to strengthen the movement further.
Issues Raised During Departure
While departing from Jammu Railway Station, the members expressed concerns about the inadequate arrangements for passengers during the journey. Highlighting overcrowded coaches and operational inefficiencies, board member Ajit Yogi remarked, “We extend our gratitude to Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh for initiating a special train for the Kumbh from January 24. However, we urge the government to arrange additional trains from the beginning of the Kumbh to ensure passengers face no difficulties.”
Impact and Commitment of the Movement
Movement Kalki’s members emphasized that their movement is not just about faith but also conveys a strong societal message. By leveraging the Prayagraj Kumbh, the movement is set to reach a national platform. Even on the 84th day, the zeal of the participants remains unwavering, and they are determined to take this mission forward with greater resolve.
Future Plans
At the Prayagraj Kumbh, Movement Kalki members will collaborate with various religious organizations and saints to intensify their demonstrations. They will also present a formal proposal at the Dharm Sansad, demanding ‘National Mother’ status for Gau Mata. The members affirmed that they would not rest until their demand is met.
