Member of Parliament Gulam Ali Khatana along with Adv. Purnima Sharma, Spokesperson BJP J&K and Co-convenor for engaging with Social and Commercial organizations and former Deputy Mayor, today visited Talab Khatikan area and interacted with members of Muslim brethren in view of last leg of the election campaign for the Jammu Reasi Lok Sabha seat.
Interacting with members of Muslim brethren, the Member Parliament said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Govt at the Centre has worked relentlessly for the welfare of all sections of the society irrespective of caste, creed, colour, religion or region consideration. Highlighting that BJP is working on the core principle of ‘Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vishwas’, he said that this principle is undoubtedly the hallmark of the incumbent Govt which no other Govt possessed for about seven decades post independence. Gulam Ali Khatana vociferously asserted that the incumbent BJP rule under PM Modi has proved that this Govt has unlike Congress party worked for the benefit of all communities including the Muslims of this nation in true letter and spirit. Purnima Sharma, in her address, said that after the Modi Government has exposed the political outfits including Congress, NC and PDP, which exploited the people in J&K for decades by spreading wrong narratives based on divisive agendas, the people have now realized that it is only BJP which can bail out masses from the morass created by aforesaid parties which ruled the region in the past.
She said that under the dynamic leadership of PM Narendra Modi, Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed a transformative shift towards inclusive governance, ensuring that every community, including Muslims, receives the attention and benefits they rightfully deserve.
She said that Modi’s vision quite rightly emphasizes “Development is only possible when Muslim youth hold Quran in one hand and computer/ Laptop in the other.”
The senior BJP leaders appealed to the members of Muslim community to come forward and extend their unwavering support by casting their votes in favor of the BJP candidate to ensure the continued advancement and prosperity of the Union Territory.
