Multi Disciplinary Super Specialty OPD Camp was organised at Govt Super Specialty Hospital Govt Medical College Jammu wherein 13 super specialties of super specialty hospital, Govt Medical College and SMGS Hospital Jammu participated.
The camp was initiated by Mr Atul Duloo Principal Secretary Health & Medical Education J&K, in presence of Dr Sunanda Raina Principal & Dean GMC & AH’s Jammu, Dr Arun Sharma MS SSH, Dr Dara Singh MS GMC Hospital, Dr Manoj Chalotra MS SMGS Hospital, Dr Deepak Kumar Dy MS SSH, Dr Rakesh Sharma Dy MS SMGS, Dr Rehana Dy MS GMC Hospital Other HOD’s OF SSH & GMC Jammu
Mr Atul Duloo Principal Secretary Health & Medical Education J&K along with Dr Sunanda Raina Principal & Dean GMC & AH’s Jammu along with other officers and officials took round of various stalls and OPD’s and sections of Hospital and interacted with public and doctors attending the camp and appreciated the initiative being taken.
More than 500 patients got benefit in the camp and it was still continuing. Besides OPD Services of various Super Specialities, Free Blood Sugar Test, Other Laboratory Tests, Ultrasound, X Rays etc were done. Free Medicines were provided along with Arrangement for fruits , tea and coffee was made for patients & their attendents.

Separate kiosk with online computer for registration of public under “AYUSHMAN BHARAT”, was made and public took full benefit of it. Separate registrations counters outside along with enquiry (MAY I HELP YOU) and Blood pressure check up for all were specially put in place. Special Power point presentation showing the highlight achievements of super speciality hospital was put in place for all to watch.
The super specialists available for the camp were Dr Noor Ali HOD CTVS, Dr I.A Mir, Dr Arvind Kohli, Dr Mohit Arora, Dr Vivek Gandotra all CTVS; Dr Dharminder & Dr Sanjeev Bhat Cardiology, Dr Elias Sharma HOD Urology, Dr Rahul Mahajan, Dr Ajay Anand, Dr Raja Langer, Dr Ranjeet Thakur Urology; Dr Amit & Dr Raju Nephrology; Dr Vivek Rishi & Dr Hardeep Neurology; Dr Rajesh Mahajan for Pain Clinic; Dr Narinder Singh Paediatric Surgeon; Dr Suhail Zahoor & Dr Ratnakar Sharma Plastic Surgeons; Dr Vijayant chandel & Dr Shoukat Choudhary Medical Gastroenterology; Dr Vikrant Chandel surgical gastroenterology; Dr Javed medical oncology; Dr Anil Sharma & Dr Suman Kotwal Endocrinology, Dr Vipul Neuro surgery; Dr Ghansham HOD Radiodiagnosis & Imaging and Dr Bhatia HOD Biochemistry were also personnaly present along with their staff for free diagnostics.
Various Post Graduates and Registrars and other paramedical and class 1vth staff were deputed By Principal GMC & AH’s for the camp.
Other doctors like Registrar Ortho Dr Ashwani Bhagat along with Mr Pawan Sharma Laison officer others like students of Bee Enn Institute of nursing volunteered there services for the camp.
