The Sub-Office Kathua of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organised a ‘Multi lingual Mushaira’ at Learning Temple School, Kathua. The Mushaira as presided over by the eminent poet of the state Mrs. Sunita Bhadwal, A Sahitya Academy Awardee who spoke about the initiatives taken by Sub-Office Kathua of JKAACL in schools. She quoted that if a one student tomorrow become a poet, our mission has completed which we are trying to emphasis in the present arena.
Er. Naresh Kumar, Chairman, Learning Temple Educational Institution was the special guest on the occasion who lauded the efforts of JKAACL, Kathua which they are doing to sensitize regarding the need of poetry in the present scenario. He further said that, the young generation need to know their roots which may help them in shaping up their future and this kind of programme helps the teen to know the magic of poetry.
SOCA, Kathua Sh. Sanjeev Gupta while addressing the students shares that young generation is the future of the country and everything is lying on them in shaping of the country. We are planning to do a workshops with the younger generations in which well known poet of the state will be invited to edify the young lads. Further, he shares that it has been proven that children who are exposed to literature have the capacity to step out and step into the lives of people to be able to empathise unabashedly and inadvertently or otherwise, we may be creating a caring society indeed.
The poets who recited the magical potery included Dharamveer, Jatinder Sharma, Shyam Lal, Santosh Rai Dhiman, Balak Ram, Anu Gupta, Dheeraj Bismil, Dr. Paramjit Sharma, Renu Padha, Sanjay Kumar Sehgal, Vijay Sharma, Dr. Usha Mouga and Sunita Bhadwal.
