Jammu, April 26:
On April 21, 2019, FIR No. 106/2019 u/s 302/34 RPC, 4/25 Arms Act was registered at PS Gandhi Nagar based on information that a person named Pawanpreet Singh alias Tawan, S/o Late S. Ravinder Singh, R/o H. No. 95/11 Nanak Nagar had been attached with sharp edged weapons. Fatal injuries were inflicted on the said person and he was declared as ‘brought dead’ to GMC Jammu. During the course of investigation, different teams were constituted by SP City South, Jammu, Sh Vinay Sharma, for tracing and apprehending the accused persons. A number of raids were conducted by SHO Gandhi Nagar, Insp Sunil Jasrotia, and three accused persons, namely, (1) Haneet Singh alias Honey S/o Lt. S Jasbir Singh (2) Malkeet Singh S/o Harvinder Singh and (3) Sanampreet Singh S/o Amrik Singh, all residents of Sector No. 2, Nanak Nagar, Jammu were arrested on April 25, 2019. Further investigation in the matter is ongoing.
