To promote the traditional culture of J&K and aware the masses of various programs and policies, BhartiyaLokSangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) ,Departmental artistes , Empaneled artistes and RegisteredTroupesof Regional Outreach Bureau , Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Government of India , staged Musical Play ” MAA SHERNWALI WALI”(Complete story of Mata Vaishno Devi )staged at Government Higher Secondary School , Katrain International Navratra Festival and enthralled audience . The progam was ingurated by Sh. Vinod Bhan, Director Doordarshan after lightning the Traditional Lamp along with Senior Staff of ROB Sh. Ram Kishan, Administrative officer, M.L.Dogra, Former Assistant Director of , Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting ,Government of India, Sh. Vijay Matto, FPA, Sh. NeerajVerma, Sh.DurgaParkash, Ram Lal, Virender Kapadia, Ritu Sharma, SunitaAtri present on the occasion &Sh.Ram Lal , Senior artiste conducted the Program. The Program was commenced with Devotional Himichali Song on “Renuka Mata”and after the CulturalBonaza Full Length Musical Play “MAA SHERNWALI WALI”written, produced and directed by Sh. M.L.Dogra,Chairman, BhartiyaLokSangeet kala Sansthan under the over allGuaidance of Neha Jalali ,Deputy Director ,ROB Government of India presented .The departmental emplaned artists & Regd. Troups,BhartiyaLokSangeet Kala Sansthan, SangamTru Art Production, SudeshKumari& Party, Migrant PatherSaz, was main attraction of the Musical Play.The play will be presented continuously upto at 4 oct 2019 at 8pm to 12pm at Government Higher Secondary School , Katra with other attractive cultural activities.
Welcome address Vijay Kumar Matto ,Senior officer announced During the Navratra Festival DailyMusical Play “MaaSheranWali”will be presented daily from 8pm to 12pm, wherein nearly 60 artists / technicians are involved, would inspire present generation to follow ideals of our deities for overall well being of the society.To showcase the historical, Puranic & Legendary references of the abode of “Mata Vaishnavi” -an incarnation of three supreme energies Mata Kali, Mata Lakshmi & Mata Sarswati and .The play revolves around various facets of Mata’s life & her teachings to the mankind.The Artistes of Various state like TamilNadu,Rajasathan,Himachal Jharkhand ,Jammu and Kashmir will present Cultural Bonaza during the Navratra Festival.
Sh.M.L.Dogra,WriterProducer,Director of Musical Play explained aims & objectives of the programme”MaaSheranWali”,(Complete Story of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi) is considered to be an incarnation of three supreme energies-Maha Kali – (Supreme energy of dissolution) MahaLakashmi-(Supreme energy of maintenance ) and MahaSaraswati (Supreme Energy of creation) .All human beings attribute the three mentioned Gunas (qualities) & their behavior is determined by the GUNA which is predominant in their nature. But in order to lead a meaningful life, a proper balance among these three is necessary. Thus the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is unique in the entire world. The origin of Vaishno Devi is as mysterious as it is about several other shrines from the past era. As per geological investigation &research of the holy cave, approximately since one million years the pilgrimage continues. As per Vedic history of Vaishno Devi there was no presence of female worshippers in the past while Rigveda found their presence in the mountain Trikuta. It especially focuses upon Shakti worship practice that continues since Puranic era.The history is enriched with many important references so are the details about traditions & facts related to this shrine which supports its holiness.This Pilgrimage is a symbol of ‘Secularism” where people from all communities irrespective of caste,colour and creed seek blessings of Mata for their well being. On the basis of evidences/references, MaaSheranwali (MaaVaishnoDevi ) Musical play has been synchronized to the best of our wisdom. This play has been designed by fully exposing all traditional folk of Jammu region including Jagar (Jadiyaa).In the play all out efforts have been made to inspire Mata through Bhairav magical dance by instigating her to appear in the universe to mitigate the sufferings of all human beings. Mata’s prominence has been glorified in a lyrical form in MaaSheranwaliplay after consulting all important references / documents, we are confident that you would appreciate our efforts in dedicating this play to you all.
The main cast of the Production were in role MaaVaishnavi- NazukBhagat, MaaDurga – Ritu Sharma, Bharaiv- Sanjeev Sodhi, Raja harishChander- K.K.Joshi, Prohit- M.C.Kotwal&Verinder Kapadia, Rani Vijaya- SunitaAtri, mataTaramati- NeelamGandotra , Shiv-parvati – RishabManhas&Isha Sharma, Raja Ratanakar- Janak Bhardwaj ,Natartor – SudeshKumari&Rajinder Saini, Renowned State Makeup Artists Kamal Sharma &Amita Ji, Bharivgan- Kuldeep Raj, Shiv Kumar, Ajit Sharma also participated in the Musical Play. Sh. DurgaParkash, Stage Decorator, ROB presented vote of thanks concluded of the Program.
