As part of the ongoing Sewa Pakhwada celebrations marking the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Morcha, Jammu and Kashmir, organized a Blood Donation Camp at Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar.
The camp, chaired by UT President of BJP Minority Morcha, Ranjot Singh Nalwa, witnessed enthusiastic participation, with Morcha members donating 24 units of blood.
Speaking on the occasion, Nalwa highlighted the spirit of service that defines the Sewa Pakhwada.
“From the very first day of this campaign, the BJP Minority Morcha has been actively engaged in programmes dedicated to public service. On the opening day, our members carried out a cleanliness drive at the Jogi Gate cremation ground. On the second day, we distributed relief among flood-affected families. And today, our members have come forward to donate blood, which can save precious lives in times of emergency or casualty,” he said.
Nalwa expressed gratitude to the party leadership for their continuous encouragement and guidance.
“I wholeheartedly thank our BJP J&K UT President Sat Sharma (CA) and General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, under whose leadership and monitoring all programmes during Sewa Pakhwada are being organized.
Their vision motivates us to take every step with sincerity and dedication. I also thank our Morcha General Secretary and District Presidents for not only mobilizing support but also leading by example through blood donation,” he added.
Outlining the upcoming activities, Nalwa said, “Tomorrow, we will distribute relief material provided by the BJP National Minority Morcha from Delhi, and the day after tomorrow, we will organize a plantation drive to contribute towards a greener environment.”
He further praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s philosophy of people-centric governance, stating, “Modi Ji always teaches us to work for the service of the people (logo ki seva ke liye kaam karo).
The Sewa Pakhwada is a living example of this vision, where citizens are not only beneficiaries but also active participants in nation-building.” The Blood Donation Camp concluded with a vote of thanks to the hospital authorities for their support in making the initiative a success.
The event reaffirmed BJP Minority Morcha’s commitment to service, solidarity, and community welfare under the larger banner of Sewa Pakhwada.
