In the third match played on Thursday in the Nari Shakti Cricket Competition at Jammu MA Stadium the power hitters have qualified for the next round by defeating the Game Siwngers. Winning the toss in today’s match the game swingers decided to bat first by winning the toss and scored 73 runs in the stipulated 20 overs in which Sandhya scored a 20 run knock while Lovely John scored 18 crucial runs. In the bowling by Power Hitters, Heena bowled accurately while both Nadia and Sanjana took 3–3 wickets each. At the same time, the power hitters hit the target and reached the target in 15 overs, with Nadia once again scoring 25 runs. Lalita contributed 21 and Alia contributed 15 runs to the team. In the bowling from the game swingers, Sandhya took 4, 2 wickets to his name. The competition is organized by the Royal Woman’s Cricket Club which is being led by coach Rupali Salathia. On this occasion to promote the players the presence of Jammu and Kashmir Body Building Association UT President Seva Singh Bali was present as a chief guest. He met the players and wished them all a very good performance. BJP leader Shamim Bano joined the occasion as a special guest. Satika Sharma, Surekha Singh, Naina Rajput, Jyoti Bala, Ashima Pathania and Ankita Jala are playing official roles in the matches.
