Natalie Portman has made a real statement at the 92nd Oscars’ red carpet as she chose to wear a cape embroidered with the names of women who directed movies last year, and were snubbed for this year’s ceremony.The names of the directors on the gown include — Lorene Scafaria (Hustlers), Lulu Wang (The Farewell), Greta Gerwig (Little Women), Marielle Heller (A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood), Melina Matsoukas (Queen & Slim) Alma Har’el (Honey Boy), Celine Sciamma (Portrait of a Lady on Fire) and Mati Diop (Atlantics), Variety reported.This is not the first time that Portman has made such a statement at an award ceremony.
