National Science Day 2017 was celebrated on 28 th Feb 2017 with full scientific fervour in the premises of KV Sunjuwan. Two students of Class- XI Geeta Omprabha and Anshupriya presented their speech on ‘Utility of Science and Technology in day-to- day life’. Some interesting and magical experiments were performed students of class-XI, Siddhant and Harsh during Morning Assembly. They later explained the scientific-basis of these experiments. An inter-house quiz competition was also organised to inculcate scientific temper and observant behaviour. “Tagore House'” was winner of the quiz .
Later, Students of class XI- Science stream interacted with eminent scientists , Dr. S. Chakrovarty and Dr. Rahul of INST Mohali in a brainstorming session. They discussed the recent innovations in the field of Nano-technology and their applications. The day ended on a scientific and innovative note.
