Natrang honours young star Vrinda Gujral

Natrang honoured its young star Vrinda Gujral for new accomplishments here today at Natrang Studio Theatre, Jammu.  Vrinda Gujral who won the 1st runner-up position in country’s most popular TV show Sabse Bada Kalakaar recently proudly appeared in all the episodes of IPL’s ‘Super Funday’ and won the accolades from all over the country. She also has the credit of having featured with top stars of the country including Salman Khan, Boman Irani, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhat, John Abraham, Moni Roy, Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi, Ananya Pandey, Tiger Shraof, Tara Sitara etc.

Proud artist of Natrang Vrinda Gujral was born to Ashu and Manish Gujral and started her humble journey in the field of theatre from Natrang’s children theatre workshops and later got selected for Natrang’s blockbusters mega children plays  like ‘Mere Hisse Ki Dhoop Kahan Hai’ and ‘Aap Hamare Hain Kaun’ both written and directed by Balwant Thakur in addition to the longest living contemporary theatre production of India ‘Bawa Jitto’. In Natrang, Vrinda has already won accolades for her outstanding performances in various National Theatre Festivals held in Amritsar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jabalpur, Guwahati, Bhopal, Tezpur and Jorhat organised by National School of Drama and Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi.

Selected from amongst 50,000 talented young actors hailing from all parts of the country, Vrinda Gujral brought this pride moment for the city of temples with her most outstanding hold over histrionics. On the occasion, complimenting the entire Natrang team and the parents of Vrinda, Natrang Director Padamshree Balwant Thakur credited the highly professional Natrang trainers particularly Neeraj Kant, Sumeet Sharma, and Aarushi Thakur who have been highly instrumental behind this rarest achievement of Jammu’s young artist. Appreciating Vrinda Gujral’s unique acting abilities, Balwant Thakur further said that her command over wit is out of the world and she has the required talent to reach to the final of this country’s most sought after TV show.

On the occasion, Balwant Thakur also shares that Natrang has the credit for being the only theatre organization of India which offers this regular summer activity for children which is full of fun and creativity. Elaborating details Natrang Director Balwant Thakur, said that Natrang has trained, inspired and motivated thousands of children till now and most of them have excelled brilliantly in various fields be it acting in theatre, film, television, media management, civil services, medicine, engineering, social work etc.
Thakur further informed that children have immense possibilities and abilities to outshine but they are required to be explored through such latest developed highly innovative training techniques of theatre and arts.The training module of Natrang’s Children Theatre has been devised by Padmashree Balwant Thakur himself, who has taken the children theatre of Jammu to the entire length and breadth of the country.
