JAMMU, May 25: Provincial President of Women Wing of National Conference Satwant Kaur Dogra today said that the overwhelming victory of the party in Lok Sabha elections shows that people have embraced the vision of National Conference in the State. She said that people of the state are yearning for stability and looking towards National Conference which alone can provide a stable and secure government in state on its own.
In a statement Satwant said that BJP-PDP-JKPC regime in the state would be remembered as the darkest period in the state, especially Jammu region which witnessed worst ever political, social and economic neglect and multiple discrimination in various fields. She said that National Conference will end this discrimination by providing regional autonomy to all the three regions of the state Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Terming the victory as victory of the people, she said that NC is committed to safeguard the interests of women, educated youth, farmers, employees, casual workers, traders, industry and poor and marginalized people of the society.
