NC always remain on forefront in ensuring equitable development of J&K: Bimla Luthra

Bimla Luthra, former MLA and State Vice President of the Women Wing, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), chaired a women’s convention at Village Badali, District Udhampur.
The event was organized as part of the party’s preparations for the ensuing Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
A large number of women from various parts of the district attended the convention, demonstrating their support for the National Conference.
In her address, Bimla Luthra threw light on the key achievements of the National Conference during its regimes in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. She emphasized that the National Conference has always worked tirelessly for the welfare of the people, with a particular focus on the upliftment of women.
“The National Conference has been at the forefront of ensuring equitable development in Jammu and Kashmir. It is the only party that can address the unique needs and aspirations of our people,” Luthra remarked.
“Our manifesto reflects our deep commitment to the women of Jammu and Kashmir.
We are pledging Rs 5,000 for the elderly female of each household of EWS , Provide 1 lakh jobs for the J&K Youths, 200 free electricity units for domestic consumption, free travel for women in state transport, and One LPG cylinders per month to each households of EWS,” she added.
Sunil Verma District President Udhampur Urban highlighted various initiatives launched during the National Conference’s tenure, benefiting women and the wider population. He expressed confidence that only the National Conference can lead Jammu and Kashmir towards a prosperous and peaceful future. He also outlined key promises made in the party’s manifesto for the upcoming polls, which include significant provisions for the empowerment of women.
Joginder Kour District Vice President Jammu Urban Women wing JKNC urged the people to support and vote for National Conference candidates in the upcoming Assembly elections, with an aim to bring positive change and ensure that the party’s pro-people policies are implemented.
Among those wjo were present,Gurmeet Singh, Amarnath, Capt Rattan Singh, Manmohan Verma, Ch Abdul Rashid, Capt Nand Lal Verma, Ashok Sharma, Akash Verma, Mohni Devi, Razia Akhtar and Savitri Devi.
