In a gracious ceremony held at Udhampur, the office bearers of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), Udhampur, felicitated Akash Verma on being appointed as the Additional Spokesperson of the party. The event was marked by a warm welcome extended by senior leaders and prominent functionaries of the party, who hailed the appointment as a step towards further strengthening the party’s public outreach.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Verma, District President JKNC Udhampur, congratulated Akash Verma and expressed confidence in his ability to amplify the voice of the people of Jammu and Kashmir through effective representation on various media platforms. He said, “Akash Verma embodies the youthful spirit and ideological commitment of the party. His communication skills and dedication will help in articulating public concerns and upholding the party’s core values with clarity and conviction.” The senior JKNC leaders present also extended their best wishes to Akash Verma and lauded his contributions to the party’s cause. They emphasized the need for dynamic and articulate young leaders to take forward the vision of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and carry the legacy of the National Conference into the future.

In his address, Akash Verma expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the party leadership for entrusting him with this responsibility. He said, “It is an honour to serve as Additional Spokesperson of JKNC. I am committed to working diligently under the guidance of our senior leadership and will do my utmost to highlight the issues faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir while promoting the inclusive and progressive vision of the National Conference.”
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a renewed pledge by party members to work collectively for the empowerment of the people and the strengthening of democratic values in the Union Territory.
