The NCC units of G.G.M. Science College, Jammu organized a get together today, to showcase the achievements of the NCC cadets of the college for the year 2016-17. Major General Nilendar Kumar, A.D.G, NCC was the Chief Guest on the occasion on the arrival of Chief Guest, a guard of honour was presented by the NCC cadets of the College.
A colourful programme, including Skit, Bhangra, Bailey Dance and Rhythmic yoga was presented by the boy and girl cadets of the college. While speaking on the occasion, The Chief Guest, Maj. General Nilender Kumar, A.D.G N.C.C said the youth is full cosmic energy and we need to channelize this energy in a positive way to face the challenges of the world. He stress the use of positive aspects of social media and warn the cadets to remain away from the negative aspects.
He said that our aims to serve mankind with full passion and zeal my adopting new methods as the learning of 21st century is out of classroom.
The vote of thanks was presented by the Dr. Jagjeet Singh, ANO NCC Boys Bn of NCC of the College. The programme was attended by a galaxy of officers including Col. Harjinder Singh, Dy. Group Commander, Col. Karam Din, C.O 2J&K Boys Battalion, Col Raj Mohan Singh Co Armed Bn and Lt. Col. Monisha Srs C.O , Girls Bn. staff members including Dr. Ranvijay Singh, Dr. Nariender Sharma, Dr. Raman Gupta & Dr. Kumar Sourab of the college, NCC alumni of the college and the cadets. The stage proceedings were conducted by Mr. Vishal Choudhary, Mr. Arjun Khajuira, Ms. Rashi and Ms. Ambica. The programme was jointly coordinated by Dr. Jagjeet Singh ANO NCC Boys and Dr. Rabia Javed ANO NCC Girls of the College.
