The 2-day National Conference on Innovative Trends in Mechanical Engineering concluded at SMVDU.
The conference was held in collaboration with Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering.
Prof. S Jayalaxmi delivered the keynote address of the day.
She spoke at length about composite materials which were followed by an interactive session.
Around 50 participants from different universities and engineering colleges all over India presented their research papers which were well deliberated upon.
Mr. Hare Krishna from SRM College, Bihar, Abhishek Shukla, SMVDU, Gunjan Yadav, SVNIT, Surat and Avi Gupta, NIT Jalandhar were selected for best paper awards in different technical sessions. In the valedictory Prof. R. Arvind Singh and Prof. S. Jayalaxmi from BIT Tamil Nadu presided over. Dr. Balbir Singh, HoD Department of Mechanical Engineering presented a detailed report about the conference. Mr. Mir Irfan Ul Haq, AP, DoME presented the vote of thanks.
