Jammu : Nami Dogri Sanstha (Regd.) Jammu (NDS) felicitated Kunwar Narayan Singh Jamwal, President, Amar Kshatriya Sabha with “Sanstha Samman Award” in a special function organised at K. L. Sehgal Hall, Jammu.
Shri Abhinav Sharma, President, J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion whereas Ved Prakash Sharma, President, J&K Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha presided over the function. Sachin Sharma, CEO, Om Palace was Special Guest, Rohit Chowdhary, Social and RTI Activist, Mahant Rajesh Sharma Bittu, President, Radha Madhav Trust, Karunesh Gupta, Social Activist and Sohail Kazmi, Eminent Journalist were the Guests of Honour and Madan Mohan Singh Jamwal was the Special Invitee. Randhir Singh Raipuria, President, Dogra Mandal read a detailed paper on the life and works of Narayan Singh Jamwal. Dogra Harish Kaila, President, NDS, co-shared the dias.
Dr. Chanchal Sharma Organising Secretary NDS in her opening address said that besides literary endeavours in the field of Dogri, NDS felicitated the persons associated with Dogri language, its art and culture, she said Mr. Narayan Singh has been supporting the NDS by providing accommodation for its fortnightly literary meets in the Rajput Sabha.
Sachin Sharma said that Kunwar Narayan Singh is an energetic social person.
Rohit Chowdhary said that Kunwar Narayan Singh has lot of love for his mother tongue Dogri and Dogri culture.
Mahant Rajesh Sharma said that we want many facilitators to propagate the cause of Dogri and Kunwar Narayan Singh is a social icon in this regard.
Karunesh Gupta said that more social activists like Kunwar Narayan Singh should come forward to serve the people. He said that language and culture is our joint responsibility and people working to strengthen this cause deserve felicitations like Kunwar Narayan Singh.
Abhinav Sharma said that languages and culture unite the society. He said that strength of our country is our diversity especially different languages and cultures. He said that Kunwar Narayan Singh is an assertive social activist who always endeavors for the social cause. He said Dogra culture teaches us to be humble, polite, disciplined, hardworking, ampathetic and at the same time to be tough and valient for the right cause. He said that Duggar region has given the army the best soldiers who are valient and disciplined and have exhibited their warriorship all over the world.
Ved Prakash Sharma appreciated the contributions of NDS for the cause of Dogri language and Duggar culture. He said that Kunwar Narayan Singh is an active social worker who is working tirelessly for the cuase of poor, needy and down trodden and has extreme love for our languages and composite culture.
Dogra Harish Kaila thanked Kunwar Narayan Singh for his support to NDS.
