Need of a Strong Mechanism to Check Corruption in State: Kavinder Gupta

Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister claims that because of NC, Congress, PDP and alike party’s policies during their rule in the state have created atmosphere of the corruption in the state and these are the parties responsible for all the problems including militancy in the state. He said this while addressing a gathering organised in ward 43, Nanak Nagar for the membership drive of BJP. Terming the statement of Governor Satya Pal Malik, he said Governor himself has admitted that he should not have given the statement being a constitutionally appointed person of the state but, being an administrator of the state these days his comments should be taken as an alarm. He said the properties of the questionable politicians should be disclosed after getting the same investigated from the agencies. He said all such politicians should be booked under relevant laws. ‘He stressed for mechanism to be adopted in the state to check the properties of the bureaucrats’ as well who also hold shares in many leading businesses of the state and country.
Gupta in reference to current statement of American President Donald Trump, wherein he had said that Prime Minister Modi has also requested for playing the role of mediator for Kashmir problem, Gupta said that Kashmir no Govt. at centre has never called for involvement in reference to talks on Kashmir issue. He said Kashmir Issue is there but we want to talk of illegally occupied Kashmir by Pakistan. “We want that part of Kashmir back from Pakistan”, Gupta said. If Pakistan is ready to hold talks on whole of Kashmir and ready to handover possession of other part of Kashmir back, we should go ahead with the talks, Gupta said. He further said that the NC and PDP which manage to secure 10% of the votes in Jammu and Kashmir, term itself as the representatives of the whole of the Jammu and Kashmir.
On the occasion of membership drive, Gupta called for active participation of every worker to strengthen the party at gross root level so that we are able to form Government at our own in Jammu and Kashmir. He said every single worker is backbone of the organisation, but collective efforts yield results, so work as team and reach out to public with all the achievements of BJP Government. Gupta said BJP is committed for equitable growth of all three regions of the state. Prominent among those who took part in the membership drive were, Councillor Surjit Choudhary, Rekha Mahajan, Rekha Chouhan, Pooja Chouhana among other booth, Mandal and District workers.
