New Delhi, March 18 : Fujifilm India introduced a new mirrorless camera which is equipped with Next-Gen image sensor and processing engine, aiming to achieve 30 per cent share in the Indian mirrorless market in the next three-four years.
Priced at Rs 74,999 (body only), the 383-gram, 4K X-T30 camera features the latest 26.1MP “X-Trans CMOS 4” sensor and the fast “X-Processor 4” image processing engine to achieve a superior image quality, the company said in a statement.
The X-T30 kit is priced at Rs 94,999 for 18-55mm and Rs 99,999 for 18-135mm lens.
“The camera industry in India is dynamic and we have witnessed a significant consumption of 4K cameras from the professional segment. X-T30 not only offers a novel photography experience to the end users but also brings the imaging industry to new heights in terms of product design,” said Haruto Iwata, Managing Director, Fujifilm India Pvt Ltd.
The X-T30 inherits exterior design features of the current model X-T20 while providing excellent operability with a new grip design that enhances stable grip when holding the camera, a touchscreen panel display with improved response performance and the “Focus Lever” that facilitates faster focusing operation.
The camera is also equipped with the “Auto Mode Selector Lever” that allows the user to instantaneously switch to a fully-automatic shooting mode.
“We’ve also brought an intelligent sensor and a swift image processing engine into this compact and lightweight body to achieve ultimate image quality,” added Iwata.
The camera offers fast and silent continuous shooting of up to 30 fps in a cropped frame equivalent to 16.6MP.
“With the new X-T30 added to the current X and GFX range of mirrorless cameras, the company aims to strengthen its foothold in the mirrorless segment in India,” said the company.
The “X-Trans CMOS 4” sensor has 2.16 million phase detection pixels, about four times that of previous models, to expand the highly-accurate phase detection AF area to the entire frame (approximately 100 per cent).
The rear LCD monitor uses a touchscreen panel display 1.3mm thinner than that on the X-T20.
