Due to cold response of administration towards the genuine demands of NHM Employees an important meeting of All J&K NHM Employees Association was held at Jammu on to discuss the future strategy in view of complete lack of response from the authorities to our demands of social and financial security.
The government has failed to fulfil the commitment made by then Minister for Health, Principal Secretary H&ME and Mission Director NHM to the employees on 29 January 2018 they said.
We have already given a press conference on 19th Dec 2018 in connection with our genuine pending demands within 10th January 2019 but the government has failed to fulfil the commitments,they added.
The Association has decided to further extend 72- hours strike w.e.f 30th Jan -1st feb Jan 2019 to remind the government about the plight of the employees and commitment given to employees in the past.
All employees working under the umbrella of National Health Mission including RNTCP, JKSACS , RBSK & NCD Staff , IDSP , Data entry operators (out sourcing ) are requested to assemble at Press Club Jammu on the above mentioned dates to press the government for fulfilment of our genuine demands.
The future strategy shall be discussed and announced on 1st of February, 2019.
