The NIS Club won the under-17 boys Kho-Kho tournament which was organised by the J&K Kho-Kho Association under Khelo India at Green Fields grounds, here.
In the final, NIS Club defeated Gharota Club 18-14 to claim the title trophy. In the final and prize distribution function, president of the Association, Manmeet Singh was chief guest, who gave away the title trophies and other individual prizes.
Speaking to the gathering, he congratulated the teams and stressed for the need of holding such events on regular basis as talent search exercise.
Present among others were treasurer KKFI, BS Tirthi, general secretary of J&K Kho-Kho Association, Harjeet Singh, Amrinder Singh and Deepak. The matches officiated by technical penal including Ajay Gupta, Dheeraj Sharma, Pankaj Malhotra, Sunil Sharma, Sahil Dev Singh, Subbam Singh Bhau, Rohit Sharma and Shibali Bhau.
