Pahelwan Nisar Ahmed of J&K Police and a resident of district Doda lifted the 64th Moori Kesari dangal title beating Babba of Kot Bhawal in Jammu in the main bout that took place Middle School Moori in Katra. Dangal was organized by Moori Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India, Shiv Kumar Sharma, who is also president Senior Citizens Welfare Forum Katra (Regd.) was the chief guest. He distributed cash prizes among the winners and runners-up wrestlers.

Naib Tehsildar, Rashid Mohd and Chajju Ram (ASI) were guests of
honour. Sarpanches Ashok Kumar and Jarnail Singh were also present.
In all, 57 bouts took place in this day-long dangal costing the organisers Rs 1,90,000.
The winner of the main bout, Nisar given away Rs 10,000 cash prize by Shiv Kumar Sharma in presence of former Sarpanch, Romesh Chander while runners-up, Babba got Rs 8,000. The second main bout won by Sumit of Panipat in Haryana outplaying Ajay Sharma of Udhapur. While Sumit presented with a cash prize of Rs 9,000, Ajay got Rs 7,000.
In third main bout, Mehar Singh of Haryana trounced Shotu of Jindrah while fourth bout went to Muneer Khan of Nagrota who defeated Virender of Panipat. The fifth bout won by Bablu of Basantgarh beating Ranjeet Singh of J&K Police.
Peer Baba Dangal Committee members and technical officials, who helped in smooth conduct of this dangal were Romesh Chander, Om Parkash, Tarsem Kumar, Mohan Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Maheshwar Singh, Devinder Singh (Naib Sarpanch), Sher Ali, Jakkin Ali, Sat Paul Verma, Om Parkash Verma, Lochan Singh, Deepak Wazir, Numberdar Nasib Chand, Tulinder Kumar, Raj Singh, Mohd. Fareed and Jagdish Chander. Other Results: Roshan Lal Sharma of J&K Police beat Salman of Chopra Shop, Bablu of Basantgarh beat Laikat Ali of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu, Ali of Jammu beat Rajesh Sharma of J&K Police and Murad Ali of Jatti beat Javed Khan of Nagrota.
