President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri today appealed to the Governor to strictly deal with process of amendment to SRO 520, as this directive has been exploited by the lower level bureaucracy elements who still have soft corner for the previous regimes.
Interacting with media persons here, Shastri however praising the well intentioned efforts by Shri. N.N.Vohra, at the same time derided official dome who are hell bent on derailing this novel administrative order by resorting to impractical verification process.
Expressing grave concern over the policy of producing 120 vouchers of daily rated workers, when the later have not been paid for years together at stretch.
“Governor is requested to direct departmental head not insist on production of vouchers pertaining to their continued service in state utilities as record pertaining to the same are supposed to be preserved in the respective offices,” Shastri added.
Shastri also appealed to the Prime Minister to extend Shri.N.N.Vohra tenure as his stay in this crucial juncture is essential and political parties led governments should learn from variety of administrative reforms initiated and implemented by N.N.Vohra.
Shastri further opined and reminded that under governor’s rule do the daily rated workers hope for resolution of their issues as it is only under later regime, 3660 administrative orders for their regularization were issued under SRO 64 while previous regimes only paid lip services.
Release of all pending wages of daily rated workers working in irrigation and flood control department, PHE, PDD, well before coming religious festivals, setting up of separate wage for disbursement of regularly monthly salary, enhancing wages of daily rated workers to rupees three hundred fifty per day and releasing 7th pay commission arrears in one go in favor of state Govt. employees and pensioners beside enhancing the medical allowance to rupees three thousand per month were others demands highlighted on the occasion.
