NMC demands implementation of 7th pay commission report

President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri today appealed to State Chief Minister’s Mehbooba Mufti and Finance Minister’s Syed Altaf Bukhari to expedite the issuance of SRO/Notification regarding implementation of the 7th pay commission report in respect of State Govt. employees and pensioners so that benefits of the same accrue to them from April 2018, hoped that the ensuing cabinet meeting shall approve the decision and SRO/notification will be issued before Darbar Move to summer capital of Srinagar.
Interacting with media persons here Shastri however appreciating the announcement of the Finance Minister’s regarding issuance of SRO/notification pertaining to implementation of the 7th pay commission adding that the State Govt. headed by Mehbooba Mufti will full fill their promises made in the floor of the house by the Finance Minister while presenting 2018- 2019 budget on January 11,2018 . He pointed out that the issuance of SRO/notification is need of the hour, employees and pensioners have pinned, their hopes since long.
Shastri also demanded release of 2% installment of DA due from January1,2018 in favor of the employees of the state Govt. and pensioners, creation of wage head for uninterrupted release of monthly wages to the daily rated workers of the state governments, issuance of regularization orders of left over daily rated workers of rural development department of Jammu region falls under SRO64 , immediate acceptance the recommendations of the Ashok Lasva headed high power committee in which the said committee has recommended the minimum salary lower staff from Rs.18,000/- to Rs. 21000/- per month, enhancing medical allowance to Rs. Three thousand per month beside increase in the wages of daily rated workers to Rs.350/- per day etc .
