Members of Non-Gazetted Police Pensioners Welfare Forum today staged a protest demonstration, here today and highlighted their demands.
While addressing the protestors they informed that as per the Govt .Order No.229-F of 2014 dated 17-10-2014 regarding pay anomaly, the effect is being given prospectively ,which means from the date of. order. Whereas ,the effect should have been given from the year 1996 when 5th pay commission was implemented throughout the State but only this Police Deptt. was left out Some of them have even expired. Surviving strugglers should get the benefit, they demanded.
They further stated that the Various pay anomaly committees have been formed and they have given their opinions and approvals from time to time.
They further told that the first pay anomaly committee was formed in the year Oct.2009 whose G.O .No. was 1387 GAD dated 8th OCT.2009 based on its recommendations, orders were issued vide G.D.No.296 F dated 21st Dec,2010 for removal of pay anomaly .
Election special pay has given to all other departments except Police department, they added.
