JAMMU, APR 19:
Accusing the BJP leaders of changing colours like chameleon, Mr. Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP said that utterly inconsistent statements by these leaders on different occasions to suit their political expediencies had totally unravelled their reputation and exposed them in their true colours. People had recognized the real character of these dual faced opportunist leaders whose penchant for power knew no bounds, said Harsh. He said that these leaders had earned the dubious notoriety for changing their stands with change in their political situation.
While in power they speak one language and when out of power, their entire conduct undergoes a complete metamorphosis, said Harsh. He was addressing huge rallies along with Mr. Balwant Singh Mankotia State President JKNPP and Mr. Yash Paul Kundal State President Young Panthers during a massive road show organized by the party from Jammu to Kathua today.
The NPP leaders who were accompanied by a motorcade of over 250 cars and two wheelers, addressed 16 public meetings en-route at Vijaypur, Mansar Morh, Samba, Jatwal, Ghagwal , Kootah Morh, Chappar Morh, Londi, Hiranagar, Dayalachak, Chadwal, Chanrorian, Rajbagh, Barnoti and Balli Morh.
Lambasting the statement of Dy. CM Nirmal Singh expressing satisfaction with Crime Branch probe in Rassana case, Mr. Singh said that the henpecked deputy of Mehbooba had crossed all limits of sycophancy to remain glued to power. By dis-associating himself from CBI demand and dubbing the protesters as pro offenders, Dr. Singh had shown the greatest disregard for the public sentiment in Kathua.
“He too will fall in line like Lal Singh”, roared Harsh, “but it would happen only after he loses his chair”. “If Lal Singh and Ganga are sacked today, it could be Nirmal Singh tomorrow. Mehbooba will use you as long as she needs you.
And once her purpose is served, she would have the least hesitation in shunting you out along with your colleagues”, said Harsh while referring to Dr. Nirmal Singh. He said that rather than acting as stooges of Mehbooba, the BJP Ministers ought to stand by the people of Kathua who had given a massive unprecedented mandate to BJP during Parliament as well as Assembly elections.
Prominent among those who led the rally included Rajesh Padgotra, Manju Singh, Adv. Kesar Praveen, Renu singh, Gagan Pratap Singh, Sham Gorkha, Rajeshwar Singh Samybal, Satish Kumar, Shankar Singh Chib, Sanjeev Gupta, Brijender Pal Singh, Rohit Sharma, Lovely Singh, Parshotam Parihar, Mohinder Singh, Vishav Singh, Manoj Gupta, Balbir Singh, Jagdish Raj, Ramesh Gupta, Neeraj Gupta, Basharat Ali, Pawan Dev Singh, Anoop Singh, Pratap Singh, Rampaul, Dharam Singh Bittu, Karnail Singh, Yogita Sharma besides others.
