Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party, Chairman of World Peace Council-India & a world peace traveller for five years on motorcycle around the world urged Mr.Antinio Guterress the Secretary General of United Nations to take urgent steps to convene an international conference of all the NAM countries with a mission to unite the world for world peace, human dignity and avoiding threat to peace by some groups/individuals who have posed a threat to the peace, harmony and international security in the East and the West. The NPP Supremo made a strong appeal to the leadership of the Third World/NAM countries to forget local/area conflicts and so-called national interest so that the world can be united for preservation of peace and human dignity, so that arms race on the international/national levels could be eradicated in the interest of human glory and for preservation of peace all over the world.
Prof.Bhim Singh in a letter addressed to Secretary-General of UN as well as to several world leaders included Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, Pakistani Prime Minister, Mr. Imran Khan and Sri Lankan President, (Heads of all NAM countries) urging the world leaders from the NAM countries to unite and take initiative for world peace and preservation of human dignity as India, Egypt, Yugoslavia and some other countries took the initiative in 1955 to organize Bandung conference where the NAM countries set up the Non-Aligned Movement for complete disarmament, human dignity, freedom and development of all the countries from Latin America to South-East. NAM countries played a unique role for organizing peace movement. India and China even signed Panchsheel Agreement.
NPP Supremo urged the Secretary-General of UN to organize NAM countries’ agenda for world peace, disarmament and human dignity while organizing this world peace day in memory of the world peace luminaries, Swami Vivekanand-India (12 January 1863), Mahatma Gandhi-India (2 October 1869), British Philosopher Mr. Bertrand Russel (18 May 1872), Swami Rama Tirtha-India (22 October 1873), President Gamal Abdel Nasser-Egypt (15 January 1918), Mr. Patrice Lumamba-The Congo (2 July 1925), American Born Martin Luther King (15 January 1929) & President Yasser Arafat, Leader of Arab World (Nobel Peace Prize Awardee-24 August 1929). The NPP Supremo who travelled the whole world about 150 countries from 1967-1972 on peace mission had a great opportunity to travel almost all these areas where the leadership has born and fought for human dignity, democracy, peace and rule of law. He assured Secretary-General of UN of all cooperation in organizing this world peace meeting in his home state (India), J&K with 60 days notice at the cost of Non-Aligned Congress-India and the National Panthers Party. He urged the Indian leadership and the leadership in South-East Asia to support this move in the interest of world peace and human survival from the wrath of a section of misguided youth who are being armed and used by some vested interests threatening the peace and human survival in different parts of the country only because handful of Big Powers are using their waste ammunition to disturb peace and human security for the pleasure of some vested interests busy in international market to float arms and ammunition disturbing the world peace.
