Several senior leaders of the National Panthers Party from different states of the country met in New Delhi at the Headquarters of National Panthers Party and greeted Chief Patron of the Panthers Party, Prof.Bhim Singh on his 82ndBirthday. The celebration committee was organized by Delhi Pradesh Panthers Party President, Mr. Rajiv Jolly Khosla and Rajasthan Pradesh Panthers President, Mr. Anil Sharma. The senior leaders from Punjab, Tamilnadu, U.P., Haryana and other areas also joined to greet the Panthers Party Supremo Sher-e-Jammu as they call Prof.Bhim Singh on his 82nd Birthday. Prof.Bhim Singh was born in a village, Bhugterian in Ramnagar Tehsil in Jammu Pradesh. Educated in his village, Ramnagar, Jammu Prince of Wales College. After a great fervor and sufferings, years of prisons and jails in J&K he reached Aligarh Muslim University where he passed out M.A., LL.B. His last exam was also cleared from the Aligarh jail where he was detained for leading a student movement for the survival of Aligarh Muslim University.
Prof.Bhim Singh travelled around the world on two-wheels (motorcycle) from India and travelled through about 240 countries of the world in five years. During his travels he got through Bar-at-Law in London and also passed LL.M from London University in distinction. Prof.Bhim Singh joined the Congress and was elected as a Congress in 1977 in J&K. He resigned from the Congress and its Membership and organized J&K National Panthers Party in 1982.
Prof.Bhim Singh has been leading the movement for one Flag and one Constitution in the country from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. He formed Panthers Party with this mission to ensure abrogation/amendment in Article 370 of the Indian Constitution to ensure that all fundamental rights guaranteed in the Chapter-III of Indian Constitution shall apply in J&K to all Indian citizens and there shall be no discrimination against the people of J&K. The Panthers Party though welcomed the amendment in Indian Constitution allowing Indian Constitution to flow to J&K with Indian Flag from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
Prof.Bhim Singh strongly disfavoured the decision of Modi Govt. to reverse the J&K recognition/status as a state in the country and the Panthers Party declared that they shall fight for restoration of 200 years old state recognition which was one of the 29 provinces of India since the Union of India came into existence in 1950.

The Panthers Party leaders from J&K also joined Prof.Bhim Singh to greet him on his birthday namely, Chairman-JKNPP, Mr. Harsh Dev Singh, Ms. Anita Thakur, General Secretary, Mr. Pushkin Antal, Student Leader from Jammu, Sushil Khanna, Convenor-Bhim Brigade, Deepak Sharma and others.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that he had never celebrated his birthday in life nor he knew this art but this time his friends from different parts of the country who knew this day joined in New Delhi. Thanking all he said that, “My religion is humanity and my home is India whereas the world is my country.” He appealed to the new generation to learn the art of living as a human being and loving the humanity all over the world. He said that what he learnt from the schools, universities even from prison houses and jails that all human being all over the world are the children of nature who must be encouraged to new wind live in peace and love whatever their names or nationalities may be recorded in their identity cards/passports.
