Jammu, July 11 : Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of J&K National Panthers Party has urged President of India to hold an urgent meeting of the representatives of all J&K recognized political parties besides representatives of national parties operating in J&K. This, he said, is very urgent for the reason that some vested interests and hawkish agencies have started a campaign to create diversity/conflict among the citizens in J&K. NPP Supremo urged the President to hold an urgent meeting of at least one ex-legislator from each political party.
There are only three recognized political parties in J&K namely, National Conference, People Democratic Party and National Panthers Party and an ex-legislator from other parties may also be invited including such ex-legislator from the Hurriyat Conference.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that the present leadership in J&K is playing foul as they did to grab power earlier and the propaganda is being leashed in the sensitive areas of the Valley which is a region of the state. NPP Supremo expressed shock on the vicious propaganda that is being vomited from across the Valley spreading false rumours and inciting hatred in the Valley to create division and chaos in the state.
He expressed surprise that the present administration in J&K has totally failed to communicate with the masses and there is not a single advisor in the governance under the Governor Rule. The civilian advisor from political party shall be highly useful to keep in touch with the general public.
NPP Supremo urged the President of India because J&K is under President’s Rule and the President of India need to have communication with the political system and the parties which have been completely ignored by the state administration. It is essential that people to administration communication should be strengthened which is not possible through the bureaucracy or security forces. NPP Supremo urged the President to convene a meeting of the representatives of the regional and national political parties so that the Central Govt. should also receive appropriate information about the situation and what needs to be done urgently in the state. The political Advisors to the Governor is an urgent need of the current situation.
