Slamming JK Government for curtailing age bar to 32 years for recruitment in JKPSC, National Secular Forum(NSF) criticized the LG Administration for squeezing the chances of young educated youth here.
This was stated by Dr Vikas Sharma, President National Secular Forum in a press conference today, who expressed his anguish over the age bar in the recently advertised JKAS posts by PSC, adding that BJP Govt under the rule of Lt Governor is playing with the career of educated youth. He said that on the one hand there is no set system of making advertisements annually by JK Public Service Commission and on the other hand, the educated aspirants get overage due to negligence of PSC putting the youth in a precarious predicament.
Terming the decision of Govt as arbitrary and anti youth, Dr. Vikas said that such an act of the government is deceiving and playing with the future of students as well as robbing away everything from the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Rising graph of unemployment and now age bar imposition for civil services candidates have added fuel to fire irking the youth to take some drastic step for some undesirable negativity and agitation, Dr Vikas bemoaned.
Dr. Vikas appealed the LG Administration to restore the earlier age bar for appearing in UT Civil Services Exam otherwise the youth will feel being pushed to take avoidable agitational path. Among those who were present in the press-conference included, Pushpinder Singh, Mashkoor Alhi, Ankush Kumar, and Rahul Sharma.
