National Secular Forum activists in large number paid their rich tributes to the student martyrs at Shaheedi Sthal, GGM Science College and raised slogans in favour of martyr students included ‘Amar Rahe- Amar Rahe, Hamare Shaheed Amar Rahe.’ Bharat Mata ki jai-Vande- Matram.’
They paid floral tributes to the student martyrs, who lost their lives in police firing during an agitation in 1966. They also mourned for a minute in their memory on the occasion.The activist of NSF paid floral tribute to the martyrs’ in the presence of Pushpinder Singh State Vice President NSF.
Pushpinder Singh said that these martyrs will always remain in our hearts as a biggest source of encouragement and these martyrs raising their voice against the discrimination with Jammu region and laid their lives for the sake of Jammu people.
He also praised the gallantry of martyrs who died for the right of students. He added in his address that we should gain knowledge of a lot from them.
Vice President NSF, urged the student community to remain vigilant and be ready for sacrifices for the nationalistic cause to end the sufferings of student community of Jammu division.
Among those who were present in the occasion , Mashkoor Ilahi Khan,Ishtiaq Naik, VIKAS Sharma, Parvaiz Joral, Shubham Kaith,Tushar Dadwal, Sonil choiudhary, jaspal Rana, Pardeep Singh, Aartic Verma, Kameshwa Rana, Arun Manhas, Surjeet Kumar, and others.
