NSUI demands change in JUET entrance

National Student Union of India (NSUI) State General Secretary Puneet Sasan, today demanded change in JUET entrance pattern and Re-evaluation system adopted by Jammu University.
Sasan while addressing the press conference said that NSUI is protesting on roads from last three months and briefly explained the three demands of NSUI viz change in JUET entrance pattern, Weightage of academic and Entrance and implementation of best of two Re-evaluation systems. He disclosed that NSUI has tried to meet VC many times buy never got any response from him and added that Vice Chancellor’s irresponsible behaviour towards students is not acceptable and NSUI will continue protest and raise voice against anti student policies. He further said, “NSUI has got massive support on the issues from common students of various colleges. He said they were protesting on the issue from last three months but till now no step has been taken on the simple and genuine demands, which shows Vice Chancellor ignores students affected by JU unfair policy. Ranjodh Singh and Nishant Gupta in their address said that NSUI is fighting for the genuine problems of the students. Jammu University should take these issues seriously and act upon them as soon as possible for Welfare of students. They also raised the issue of best of two Re-evaluation schemes which has been struck down by the university and demanded to implement the scheme as soon as possible to benefit suffering students.
