The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), today held a meeting at far-flung Tehsil Paddar of District Kishtwar regarding the basic students demands including common hostel for students at Atholi, School Buses, early stating the classes of I.T.I and Degree College, up-gradation of sanctioned Degree college to B.A (Hons.) college , The meeting was chaired by Prakash Singh Dadwal the State Vice President NSUI Jammu and Kashmir.
While addressing the students, Prakash Singh Dadwal State Vice President NSUI Said,” hundreds of students are keenly waiting to seek admission in ITI and GDC Paddar, which is nowhere on ground even almost a year after the announcement and inauguration were made, none of the student have been enrolled in it till date”.
Dadwal added, “Further delay in making the institutions functional will cause the exploitation of aspirations and career of Students of the far-flung area. To protect the students from being exploited, NSUI always stands for them and fight for their rights”.
“To make these institutions functional, otherwise uncontrollable anger of students will bring the students as well as public at each and every crossroad for registering protest.” Dadwal, warned.
As per the recommendation made by District President Umar Mingnoo and the approval of State President, Raqeeq Khan. Dadwal announced the office bearers of Tehsil unit of NSUI Paddar. Milan Manhas (Sanyas) appointed as Tehsil President. Simran Sharma (Tatapani) and Suraj Singh (Sanyas) are appointed as Tehsil Vice Presidents.
Jatinder Manhas (Sanyas), Diler Singh (Leoundi), Ajay Kumar (Affani) , Raj Kumar (Garh) and Ashish Parihar (Jar) are appointed as Tehsil General Secretaries. Surinder Kumar (Sanyas), Sahil Singh (Gulabgarh), Sanjeet Kumar (Leoundi), Govind Singh (Leoundi), Jatinder Kumar (Affani), Narinder Kumar ( Leoundi), Komal Singh (Garh).
