NSUI and Youth Congress activists accorded warn welcome to Neeraj Kundan on his first visit to his home State after becoming National President of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) and also accorded warm reception to Sh Iftkar Ahmed, who has also been appointed as National Coordinator , Indian Youth Congress (IYC)on his first visit to Jammu . He was also accompanied with Neeraj Kundan .
The youth congress and NSUI workers gathered at airport Jammu where they have garlanded both the leaders and welcome them on their first visit to city of temple Jammu ,after that a reception rally was organised from airport to PCC office shahidi chowk jammu in the form of procession and shouted slogans in favour of both of them . The whole programme was held under the guidance of Sh Shahnawaz Choudhary General Secretary PCC J&K .
The programme was jointly organised by NSUI J&K and PYC J&K under the leadership of Uday Chib State President PYC, Ankush Bhatnagar, National Secretary NSUI Secretary and In-charge J&K, Raqeeb Khan State President NSUI. Sh Shahnawaz Choudhary, Sh uday Chib , Jatinder Chib,Rakeeb Khan,along with other senior Pyc leaders also accompanied both mr Neeraj Kundan and Iftkhar Ahmed during reception rally in open jeep . The rally in the form of procession of bikes and cars started from airport passes through main bazar and culminated at congress office Jammu
J&K PCC Chief G.A Mir flanked by CLP Leader Nawang Rizgin Jora, Former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, former Minister R.S Chib , Sh mula Ram Vice President PCC J&K ,Shahnawaz Chowdhary General Secretary PCC J&K and Manmohan Katoch PCC General Secretary, DCC President Rural Hari Singh Chib, DCC President Urban Vikram Malhotra received the Rally at PCC office Jammu Later, the function was held at PCC headquarters where JKPCC President, G.A Mir addressed the gathering.
PCC Chief, while addressing the gathering, congratulated Neeraj Kundan on being appointed as a National President and Iftkhar Ahmed as National Co-ordinator IYC .He further said the appointment of Neeraj Kundan and Iftkhar Ahmed from a non-political background clearly reflects the vision of Rahul Gandhi who has opened the door of politics to the youth of common family and Kundan is the source of inspiration for all youth of J&K. Neeraj Kundan extended gratitude to Smt Sonia Gandhi and Sh Rahul Gandhi who have given him a responsibility to lead the world’s largest student organisation. He also thanked PCC, PYC and NSUI activist who whole heartedly supported and gave warm reception to him.
Iftkar Ahmed, in his address, expressed gratitude and thanks NSUI and pyc jk for warm reception and Also thanked Sh Rahul Gandhi ji , Sh Krishna Alluvera ji incharge Iyc , Sh Keshav Chand Yadav ji ,National president Iyc and Sh Srinivas Vice President Iyc who all have reposed faith on him and appoint him National co-coordinator incharge UP west .He urgedthe Congress activists to strengthen Congress Party for overall development of the State and empowerment of people at grass root level. Shahnawaz ch General Secretary PCC J&K while addressing the gathering congratulate both the leaders for their appointments and said that youth hold the key to progress and development while having the ability to bring the State out of morass and uncertainty. He expressed confidence that youth in the State have realized that they need to come forward to ensure change in the State by defeating the forces inimical to peace and development of the State.
Uday Chib, while congratulating Neeraj Kundan and Iftkhar Ahmed said that the State needs the services of young generation to ensure overall development and progress in all the three regions, as the youth can bring out state from miseries.
Raqeeb Khan State President Nsui appealed to the youth to strengthen the hands of Congress Party so that the discrimination being faced by them shall be removed.
