A press conference of the Other Backward Classes (OBC) Department of Pradesh Congress Committee J&K was held at Congress HQ Shaheedi Chowk Jammu presided over by Advocate Suresh Kumar Dogra-Chairman OBC Department PCC J&K.
while addressing the Media Personnel, Adv. Dogra said, ” The Conversion of State into Union Territory and Abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A” is a complete violation of the Constitution and it is a tactful and also a big fraud and deception with the 52% OBC population of the state. As per the Jammu and Kashmir Re-organization Bill 2019, the Modi led Union Govt. has betrayed the innocent OBC population of the J&K, by not implementing Mandal Commission Report in the J&K, which is also a verdict of Supreme Court of India, in 1992.
Dogra said, the Home Minister of India Shri Amit Shah on 5-8-2019, while addressing in Rajya Sabha said by the extension of Union Territory in the J&K, the 52 % OBC population of Jammu and Kashmir would get maximum benefit, also stood a fake statement and the Rules framed by Central Govt. are different and against OBC population of the J&K, Speaker J&K Assembly Shri Nirmal Singh Ji and Member Parliament of BJP Shri Jugal Kishore Sharma are also spreading fake news among innocent OBC peoples. It is mentioned in Para 7 of page No. 44 of the Bill, which clearly depicts the implementation of J&K, Reservation Act 2004 and page No.52, Serial No.21, also showing the implementation of the J&K State Commission for Backward Classes Act 1997, despite of National Commission for OBC.
Adv. Dogra warns the Modi led Govt. not to play with the fate of OBC peoples of J&K who are already a under privileged class, by not implementing Mandal Commission Report which guarantees 27% Reservation. We also demand the extension of National Commission for OBC in the J&K and give justice to the OBC masses.
