JAMMU, May 30:
Wushu Association of India (WAI) is organizing Online Traditional National Wushu Championship from May 30 to June four 4th.The event is being hosted by Chandigarh University.Around 500 players from 43 units of WAI are expected to take part in this competition. The championship is being organised in view of the Online Asian Traditional Wushu Championship, being organised by Wushu Federation of Asia (WFA) from June five.
The inauguration of the Traditional National Wushu Championship shall be held at 10.30 am. President of WAI, Bhupender Singh Bajwa shall inaugurate the event.
Pertinent to mention here that in 2020 WFI organised first of its kind online National championship in the country which was inaugurated by Union Sports Minister, Kiran Rijiju.
