A meeting of Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association, Jammu was held today at Green Belt Gandhi Nagar, Jammu under the General Secretary of Association D.K Chouhan and all the members of association were present. During the meeting special attention was given for the social distance as for guidelines of Govt of UT of J&K. In the meeting Chouhan has appealed to the IG, BSF (Nodal Officer) Paloura Camp, Jammu, DIG BSF CRPF Bantalab Nodel Officer CISF Commandant Reasi for opening of canteen for the facilities of the Paramilitary forces in J&K UT as the families of the forces are Facing a lot of hardships, for the last 3 months.
Since the Indian army has opened all Canteen on 17th May 2020 and on the pattern of some the canteen of Paramilitary Forces too be opened to facilitate the canteen facilities. The delegation of the association also met IG BSF, who is a nodal officer, and highlighted the aforesaid demand. They appealed to IG BSF to issue instruction to the concerned officer of 42 Bn to open the Centre Armed Police Canteen at R.S Pura for the welfare of paramilitary forces personnel and family. The delegation was comprised of DK Chauhan, Gurdyal Singh, District President Jammu, Noor Mohammad, General Secretary District Samba, Harbans Lal, Joint Secretary J&K, Deep Kumar, Tehsil President RS Pura, B Singh, General Secretary Jammu.
