Life cannot be the same if the country is not protected by brave soldiers, said Rekha Mahajan, Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir BJP.
Expressing her gratitude and extending well wishes to the brave soldiers of army, para-military forces and policemen, she said that they all serve the nation and its people while performing their duties at different levels and in different situations.
Rekha Mahajan, who also tied rakhis to the security men, said that they are the reason why the Indian citizens lead a happy and secure life. She said that these soldiers are our brothers, who constantly defend our country and the people.
Rekha Mahajan said that Raksha Bandhan would be incomplete without wishing a secure and happy life to our brother soldiers on borders, who are away from their beloved sisters. The nation is proud of them.
Rekha Mahajan sent best wishes to all such soldiers who are more committed to their duty.
On this auspicious day, sisters tie their brothers a sacred thread called “rakhi”, which is supposed to protect their brothers from evil, while brothers in turn promise to protect their sisters for life, Rekha said and added that. Brothers are always very protective of their sisters’. This day stands for protection and love and reminds us of our soldiers, who are away from their homes and don’t get to celebrate festivals as we do.
They stay at our country’s borders day and night to protect us day and night.
