Embracing the dogma and ideology of Panthers Party more than 30 womenfolk including youth from Ward No.7 led by Mrs. Vaishno Sharma joined Panthers Party in the presence of Mr. Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP, Mrs. Manju Singh Gen. Secy JKNPP and other leaders in a grand function held at Party headquarters today.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Mrs. Manju Singh categorically rejected the policies of both the BJP and the Congress and lambasted the Kashmir based parties NC and PDP for doling bias to the people of Jammu Pradesh in all spheres. She said that only Panthers Party has emerged as a lone force of the Dogras which has been fighting for their rights from the beginning. “The people now have a firm belief that Panthers only can provide us succor and liberate the people of Jammu Pradesh from all kinds of miseries and hardships. Panther leaders are aggressive and have the tenacity to restore our pride and honour “, Manju added. Mocking the BJP’s trumpeted slogan of ‘Achey Din’ as a hollow rant, she also rebuked ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ as salt on the wounds of daughters of the soil. She urged upon the womenfolk to teach BJP a befitting lesson in the coming Local Bodies elections and support Panthers party to empower Jammu .
Lambasting the BJP for perpetuating harassment to women and discrimination against the youth of Jammu region, Mrs. Vaishno Sharma said that unholy alliance only robbed their due share in employment and served lion’s share in the platter of Kashmir during its 4 years rule. “The memories of frequent lathi charge on underemployed educated women protesting for their legitimate rights under Saffron rule were still fresh in our minds.BJP shall face the wrath of women fraternity and youth in the next Assembly elections”, Vaishno said. She flayed the sinister combine for treating them like ‘disposables’ and putting their future in jeopardy. Prominent among those who joined JKNPP included Santosh, Sunita, Chetna, Pooja, Sushma, Anju, Aksita, Sarika, Nirmal, Vina Devi, Rekha, Sheetal, Ramesh Kumar, Raman Gupta, Vishal, Gorav, Happy, Ajeet Raj, Chaman Lal, Manmohan, Mahesh Padha, Raman Jandial, Sanjeev Kumar besides others.
