Several women activists of BJP, Congress and NC belonging to ward No. 62, Chinnor quit their respective parties and joined JKNPP today in the presence of Mrs. Manju Singh General Secretary of the Party.
The newly inducted members pledged to whole heartedly support Panthers Party in its fight for the cause of Dogras.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Manju Singh urged upon the people of Jammu to give a befitting reply to those who had reportedly betrayed them. She said that BJP Congress, NC or PDP were not the solution to the ills afflicting Jammu region. Only a regional party of Jammu could effectively represent the cause of the region and its people and appealed to the people to vote and support it in the ULB elections. “Strengthen Panthers to empower Jammu” said Mrs. Manju Singh.
Pointing towards the most hostile discrimination doled out to Jammu region during the last around 4 years, Mrs. Manju Singh made a particular mention about the raw deal given to the Jammu youth in employment.
She said that BJP had made a cruel joke of its slogans of “Beti Bachao – Beti Padao” in J&K by making the female employees to take to streets and demonstrate on the roads for fulfillment of even their most genuine demands.
She strongly condemned spiraling prices of essential commodities with petrol, diesel and LPG gas prices having crossed all imaginable limits. Seeking support for NPP, she said that it alone could ensure justice to the hitherto deprived and marginalized Dogra land.
