To help the entire paddy growing farming community in the Kalyanpur area to get the best price for their produce, Department of Agriculture Jammu in collaboration with Food Corporation of India (FCI) today inaugurated a Paddy Procurement Centre at village Kalyanpur(Jhiri)of district Jammu.
The paddy procurement centre was inaugurated by SDAO Marh, Sh. R S Jamwal.
Speaking on the occasion, R S Jamwal said that the paddy procurement centre will help the paddy growing farming community in the Kalyanpur area to get the best price for their produce.
K K Sharma, Local resident of the area welcomed the decision of the Agriculture Department to set up paddy procurement centre in Kalyanpur.
Among others, Sh. Nirmal Prakash AEO Mishriwala, Sh. Anil Kumar Khachroo JAE0, Rajinder Kumar JAEO, Anirudh Kumar Bhat AEA, Sh. Sunil Raina AEA, Sh Jai Raj AEA, Sh. Dheraj Sarmal AEA and Ravi Kumar AEA
attended the inauguration of Paddy Procurement Mandi at Kalyanpur.
